Avignon, floating guest house on the barge QI, a perfect dream escape for a vacation or a weekend. On board, you will admirethe view of the Palace of the Popes, the ramparts and the Rhône river. Embark   A 10 minute walk from downtown Avignon, on the edge of the Rhône, the 38 meters long barge welcomes you with a green gardin atmosphere on one side and incredible view overlooking the Palace of the Popes and the medieval ramparts. Parking within 20 metres of the barge. On board, rocked sometimes by the soft waves of passing boats along the Rhone, you can take advantage of the terrace to have a bite to eat, relax or take a nap, all within close proximity to the historic heart of Avignon. Piot and Barthelasse islands are classified as protected natural sites playing host to hundreds of species of faune, ideal for a hike or a bike ride. The spacing of the guest rooms are distributed in such a way along the length of the 38 meters of the barge to guarantee a maximum of discretionary space.  According to availability, you have the choice between the Royal Yang room located at the bow of the boat (55/70 euros), the Zen room (55/70 euros) and the Sea Perch room (55/70 euro) in the center of the barge; the Sailor's suite, situated at the stern of the boat - a truly a floating studio (70/85 euros) complety restored. New in 2009, breakfast are served and included !!!. Your small pets are also welcome to get their paws wet onboard for a 15 Euros supplement.
The nightly rate is 55 Euros as double room for a 3 night minimum stay (only from october to april) and 70 Euros for a one or two night stay with the possibility to accommodate a third person ((15 Euros supplement for an additional bed. On Friday or Saturday night please add an additional 5 Euros. Special rates apply during one week stay 450€ a bedroom and 550€ the skipper flat. Special rates apply during the Avignon Theatre Festival and on the eve of holidays, please to consult us. Additionally, a small self service cafee or thea is provided for all guests in the bedrooms.
