Contemporary nautical atmosphere
New since 2009, breakfast is served and included in the price !!!
All three rooms are set apart from the Skipper’s Suite in the stern of the boat, because of their more standard dimensions. While part of a nautical atmosphere, the Royal Yang Room is decorated primarily with local woods out of concern for the ecology. I named it the Royal Yang Room because of its location at the front of the boat, the bow: the most intensely Yang area.
The luminous room, 11 square metres in size, is naturally lighted by 2 traditional bronze portholes. Its raw Burgundy oak floor, aged in the open air, is reminiscent of barge decks. It is not air-conditioned, but its reinforced insulation protects it against heat and cold in the winter, and you will find a fan for your comfort. The room is connected to the central heating in winter.
WiFi is available for free. At breakfast time, opening the cupboard reveals a mini-kitchenette complete with a mini-fridge. Tea and coffee etc is available in order to prepare for a good start in the morning, at whatever time you wish. The bathroom, fitted with a deluxe shower, lies in the forepeak of the vessel, the fo’c’sle (forecastle). In former times, the sailor’s living quarters were located in this area.
For your pleasure, you will have full access to the sun deck for admiring the scenery, sunbathing…
