Access Map??

To reach us, you can either go to Google Maps which will calculate the?route for you: just enter your departure and arrival points. You can even see a satellite view of the barge! Otherwise, there are two?possibilities with a map that I have prepared : maps.google.fr???

Motorway access:??

Exit the A7 motorway at the toll booth LE PONTET / AVIGNON NORD / CARPENTRAS.?You will need to follow the signs to Avignon; once you’re there, you will see the Rhône?river on your right and the city ramparts on your left. Continue driving?and cross under the Saint Bénézet Bridge (the historic bridge of Avignon) and continue straight ahead in the left lane following the signs toward?Villeneuve-lez-Avignon. This will lead you onto the Dalladier Bridge.?Take the?first exit off the bridge to your right, leading you onto Piot Island (Île Piot), an island in the Rhône river.

You will need to find a road called?Chemin d'Isle Piot: after exiting the bridge, turn right twice, and continue straight ahead after the roundabout. This is Chemin d’Isle Piot.?The Rhône river will be on your left.

The Péniche QI is docked in front of "Le Treille" restaurant and is the?last barge on the Chemin d’Isle Piot. As a reference it is located right between the?Dalladier and Pont d'Europe bridges. You must not take the Pont d'Europe?Bridge to access the barge as incorrectly indicated by Mappy or by?GPS, but rather the Dalladier Bridge as indicated here. Feel free to park on the road just opposite the barge.

Train Access:??

If arriving at the Avignon TGV station, you will need to take the shuttle bus?in front of the TGV station (1.15 euros) to the Avignon city centre. (If arriving by a regional train, the train will stop directly in Avignon, in the Avignon Centre station just opposite the city ramparts).

Once you have arrived downtown, you will need to take the city bus number 10 or 11?until the middle of the Dalladier Bridge, which is actually in two sections because it spans Piot Island, and walk up the road called?Chemin d'Isle Piot (approximately 7 minutes).
